Route 3 is a beautiful ascent to the top of Palouki hill at an altitude of 567 meters, offering an immersive hiking experience in one of Skopelos' most pristine natural landscapes. Beginning at the Sotiros Monastery, the trail follows the marked footpath that climbs steadily through a cool, shaded forest to the highest point of the hill.

This route is ideal for nature enthusiasts wishing to discover the island's remarkable biodiversity. Along the way, hikers pass through dense evergreen oak woodland, majestic pine forests, and areas rich in seasonal wildflowers and mushrooms that flourish across mount Palouki during spring and autumn.

Throughout the hike, natural clearings in the forest reveal magnificent panoramic views over Skopelos Town, the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea, and the island's lush green landscape. The peaceful surroundings, rich vegetation, and changing scenery make this one of the most rewarding forest walks on Skopelos.
